Komposer MD's present work with music centers around being a versatile musician for musical composition, performance,
and multimedia productions. Her specific areas of expertise are film scoring, creating original theme music, composing
for opera, theater, choral, and various instrumental groups. Some of her musical compositions
are listed on the "Music Catalog" page. Her performance experiences span the musical spectrum: Dubois' Seven Last Words
of Christ, Dr. Melva Costen, Conductor, Faure Requiem, Dr. Lynda Elliott, Conductor, Rutter's Gloria, Vivaldi's
Gloria, and Handel's Messiah, Eric Cui, Conductor; Open Mic with musicians at Ashford and Simpson's Sugar Bar,
(New York City), Relish (Philadelphia), and The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and The Performing Arts.
Komposer MD is a graduate of Cheyney University
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and has a Master of Science degree in Medical Biology from the C.
W. Post College of Long Island University, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Technologic University of Santiago,
and Doctoral work in Anatomy from New York University. She
has working experiences in medicine and the physical sciences that include being a public health physician at the
Moscoso Puello Hospital (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic), analytical microscopy at Hercules, Inc., research
in immunology at Morehouse School of Medicine, an Adjunct Professor at Baltimore City Community College, a
member of Morgan State University's Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Advisory Board, and is an active
researcher in the areas of interdisciplinary academia and ecosystemology.
